History

History is being made today. I wasn't absolutely convinced at the beginning of this whole process that we really and truly would have a woman or a black man as our democratic candidate but it happened and it's huge. HUGE. I'm not telling anyone who to vote for...if you know me, you know my choice, but everybody is entitled to their own and all I hope is that you make one. (and if you MUST vote republican, at least vote McCain...lol).

Brianna,

As an avid reader of your blog these past few weeks (love the insights into the world of elite level track & floss lol), I never got an inkling as to whether or not you were heavily into politics.
Which in my opinion is a good thing, because I truly enjoy the entertainment value of your blog.
I should have known a person as multidimensional as yourself would be in tune to what has been transpiring. I am not really into politics, due to what I feel is system driven by corruption and self-serving agendas. I do however realize the magnitude of what is taking place within the Democratic party. I don't know which way you are leaning, but I know must of "Us" (those of the nubian persuasion) hope B.O. secures the nomination. :-) Sadly, it might be better if Hilary gets the nod. Because even in this day in age, to paraphrase Chris Rock, "a black man running for president will probably get shot for just trying to run for president". Regardless, I agee with you wholeheartedly. Everyone should get out to the polls and let their voices be heard. Oh yeah, I personally would sooner listen to an excruciating marathon of Tom Petty's greatest hits than for vote for John McCain. lol

If anyone had any sense this time around, they would stay away from those Republicans because those folks.....they start entirely too much trouble!

Obama all the way!!!

What an exciting day! Looks like HC and BO are pretty much tied as far as delegates go. And boy oh boy did folks vote for McCain! :)

You know, I really didn't need to show my ID either- I just needed to verify my address... hmm... Anyway it's great to hear people so excited to be a part of the political process. I proudly wore my I VOTED sticker all day long!
