Picture of the Week: Birthday Celebrations

As you might know, I had a birthday a few days ago. And I celebrated…just a little bit. Of course, I was in southern California to work, but I did manage to get in some time to be with friends and relax. I am extremely connected to the people in my life who I have been friends with and who help make me who I am. It is definitely the thing I miss most being in Arizona…being able to be around the people that I love.

Friday night I went out to dinner with a group of friends in Hollywood. It was a random restaurant in the middle of nowhere but it had great food and a fun atmosphere. Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated my 28 years of life!

Saturday I spent the day with my best friends (who also had a birthday the week prior) relaxing at a day spa and then eating enough to sustain a small army at the most fabulous steak house. Seriously…it was SO much food. The waiter actually interrupted as we were ordering the sides for the table to remind us how much food we were actually ordering. I suppose they aren’t used to girls in LA actually eating. After a meal of sourdough bread, steak, crab legs, mac n cheese, asaparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, sautĂ©ed mushrooms, chocolate souflee, and apple pie…we were stuffed. But it was oh-so worth it.

What a meal... My mouth is watering just reading about it.
And garlic mashed potatoes, wow that sounds so good! We add grated cheese to ours here. I think I'm gonna have to try it with garlic the next time I prepare it. :)

Bianca, I'm nobody special. And no, I don't have a vanity blog. I blog in another persona, but I keep it totally separate from my anonymousnupeage. I attempted to check you out, too, but, alas, I'm not "invited."

Peace.

LOL, aren't we all? That's just what the ethereal "they" call blogs that people erect that are all, or mostly, about them. (As opposed to public service, business, consumer, etc.) No offense. Just the jargon. And yes, you are vain. But you have more reason to be than the rest of us.
