Picture of the Week: A side of bacon please

Everyone knows that I am usually a picture-taking freak. However, I have taken no pictures in Europe this time around...except this one on my Blackberry. I am carnivore through and through. Proud of it too. A meal is not complete unless there is meat involved. However, after running across little Wilbur in the grocery store in Italy I was almost convinced that I might not ever eat meat again. At least not bacon or ham. At least not in Europe. At least for a good week or so.

thoughts of a grill and barbecue sauce are now dancing in my head.

You're funny for that. That is something that I would say. I did the same thing when I first seen how the chickens at the KFC plant were being thrown against the wall, etc. I stopped eating chicken for like a month, then I stopped eating fast food chicken but would eat home cooked chicken. Then one day I was like "forget that, I want some Popeyes!!" That was a couple of 365's though. I can't stomach fast food now.

Word! Do you know why eating meat for me is so hard?

I'll stick to BBQ tofu and Tofurky!

Come home... I miss you.

Whoa! What's up with the Italians putting varmints on display for sale like that? At least dress up the critter a little! For GOD's sake, tie a ribbon around his neck or somethin'! I'd definitely be interested in knowing what Cro-Magnon would actually buy that for supper. Although I don't partake in the swine, I like my meat as much as the next brotha, but after seeing that, it is officially a Vegan Summer. Thanks, Brianna! :-)
