Back on the Bandwagon

My blogging has been slacking lately. Of course it's not my fault. If we are going to blame anybody, let's blame Cox Cable who has taken over a week to give me internet in my new apartment. Please forward all your dissatisfaction letters to them. Speaking of my new apartment, I am extremely happy with it. Yes, I can hear each and every plane as it flies into the airport, but I think that adds character. At least that is what I'm telling myself. Here is a picture of my new digs...it's technically a 1 bedroom, but let's be happy I live by alone.

Since my internet is now up and running and I have no other good excuses besides laziness to not blog regularly, what I'd like to do is get your input. What are you hoping to see blogged about in this upcoming year of my so-called fabulous life? What things do you find interesting? What things make you start snoring mid sentence? How often are you woken up in the middle of the night in anticipation of what might be written on the blog? I need to know.

I wake up in the middle of the night wishing you were blogging about finding Mr. Right and how you can't wait to have babies. Mom.

LOL. your mom is funny. I don't often comment on your blogs, but I do read them. I will try and comment more, because you probably like comments. I think all your blogs are great because you open your heart and lay it all out there. I love to read most about your travels and interactions with people you meet (and esp. your dates). I agree with one of your fb pals, blogging about your upcoming training for Olympic Trials would be awesome. You even make going shopping interesting. Just keep saying what you feel and entertain us. We love it. Jo

Well since your answering questions right now I have one. When you're on the Euro circuit we get all types of pics and stories about travels outside of the track, and I love that. When you were on the Brazil circuit early in the season we didn't get that. I'll take on/off the track for that circuit. Just a thought.

I love when you blog about your awesome little sister....
my opinion could be bias though.

I also like when you blog about the little details. Like knowing all about the places you travel, the meets you participate in, the food, sleeping accommodations, and people you meet. This combined with your actual feelings, helps paint the picture and makes me feel like I'm actually there with you.

@mom...I'm married to my career right now.
@jo...thanks so much!
@anonymous2...I did a whole thing on brazil the time before last. it's in the archives. It doesn't change too much from trip to trip. :)
@brit..thanks for your input.

Any blog where you mention "Cox" works for me..... lol I'd keep with those same themed blogs.

p.s. So that is what your bed looks like. Oh la la! Does it have a kitchen and can you cook? hint! hint! :)

I like posts like the one from Lignano that show off beachscapes and BG abs.
The most fun blogs are the ones that give voice to the inner dialogue bouncing around in your head. It is an easy thing for us civilians to forget that athletes are dealing with much the same doubts and hoorays.
The best blogs involve food.

Further on that thought.....You should be 1/5'th part of reality show about the pursuit of the Olympics! 5 athletes followed by camera's documenting their struggles and life as they prepare to "make the team"!

I will expect royalties anyone out there acts on this. Time is short. Perhaps too late?

Anyone with contacts to make it happen? B is perfect for this.

I am finally getting caught up on some things so I am now reading up on this fabulous life of yours. You are very good at what you do with your track event and you have a big goal out there for 2012. And you are also very good looking, with a hot body, fab legs, etc. You seem to handle that quite well. Many of your competitors are also good looking, hot, and all that stuff. But when you are running and jumping in a sports bra and short shorts or bikini bottoms, you better be in good shape. You have also picked a heck of a sport to try and make a living at. How's your golf game. I personally do not care for it, but that is one area where there is a lot of money. Those little gold short shorts would really shake those people up. They need it. After reading all this just remember I am really pulling for you. And I do agree that you are married or involved with yourself and your career. You really have to be for what you want. Take care and best wishes

I read your blog occasionally - really enjoy it. Never commented before. I cover athletics, and I have to say that before I started reading your blog, you were just another athlete. Now I feel I know you (even tho I don't). What I've been curious about: whatever happened the guy you met in Birmingham this summer? wink wink

thanks! I think that was one of those things that stay in Europe. :)
