V-day

Guess, what? I’m busy Sunday. Yup, as in Sunday, February 14th. I have plans. And they’re with a boy. Normally, I would spend the next couple of days updating my status with the most witty, sarcastic one-liners I could throw out to express my irritated, yet blasé attitude towards V-day, but we all know the real reason for being apathetic…it’s because I had no one to celebrate with. But now that’s all changed, and I may get a rose…or some chocolate…or an over-priced prix fix menu at a fancy restaurant --complete with a totally cheesy Hallmark card to boot. Whatever it is, it will be enjoyed with a member of the opposite sex. As much as I love my girlfriends, I much prefer getting together and celebrating that love on February 15th. Yes, I’ve done the girls night out, dressed in all black, and toasting to the wonderful life of Singledom, but trust me; it’s just an act. We’d all rather have the cheesy Hallmark card. And the chocolate.

So when did we start dating outside the relationship? Lol Your expectations seem a little low, single rose, hallmark card, chocolates, & dinner? It's Valentines Day, whether it's with your spouse, bf/gf, or just a friend I suggest going big! It's ok to raise the bar a little, if you don't it's just another day.

Now we know why you came back instead of staying in Europe and competing. How sad!

Any pictures of our stud?

Is he black, white, other? I'm betting black.

Ask him to make a post here introducing himself so we can welcome him to the family properly. lol

At last, the lady can speak some truth. Cali doesn't need anymore angry women. If your nephew wants to take auntie for a date to Mc D's, you go with a smile. Tell everybody you gotta man, and in this case size doesn't matter cause that little man got some integrity.

Now can you hook a brotha up with one of them hot Russian long jumpers?

That's probably why you are still single, you like boys. My advise, find a man.

Are you a virgin?

Regarding (Single Black Women), suggested reading.
www.goodmansociety.com/uploads/CJ_letter_to_Steve_Revised_1_.pdf

Proverbs 12:4
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband, but she that make him ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

Isaiah 54:5
For thy Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Isreal; The God of the whole Earth shall he be called.

If you consider the thought that God is your husband, and believe yourself to actually be a virtuous woman. A wise man would desire to claim that crown and protect it with his life.

This athletics season be a woman with a strategy to find your friend and protector. If necessary take the man out for tea or lunch (claim his time) and demonstrate who and what you are.
